The Mount Vernon Viaduct Project will replace the 86-year old existing bridge over the BNSF Railway yard in the City of San Bernardino. Traylor and Granite have long histories of completing successful bridge projects, having built, demolished and/or rehabilitated over 250 bridges nationwide. The Traylor-Granite Joint Venture team provides the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) and the San Bernardino community with the most capable and highly experienced design-build team to develop the most striking, durable, and community-connecting infrastructure improvement the City has ever known.
The Project’s proposed bridge configuration consists of seven continuous spans with a total bridge length of 876 feet.
TGJV is excited to team with SBCTA, Caltrans, local subcontractors and small businesses to modernize the bridge to current seismic, design, and roadway standards, as well as comply with ADA pedestrian facilities.
